Cincinnati Occupational Therapy Institute (COTI) provides occupational therapy services at The Summit Academy
Preschool. This option allows students to receive occupational therapy services during the school day on
campus either in the classroom or in an extended learning space.
Pediatric occupational therapy services help children gain independence and promote skill development in their daily environments. Occupational therapy services at school can support skill development of fine motor skills, visual motor skills, self-regulation skills, executive functioning, and social skills that children need to function and socialize in their home, school, play, and community environments. Sometimes children have additional needs that involve sensory processing that are best addressed in COTI’s outpatient clinic in Blue Ash.
In order to begin the process of receiving ongoing services at The Summit Academy Preschool or at COTI’s Blue Ash clinic, you should call COTI’s office at 513-791-5688. The COTI office staff can assist you with the next steps which include intake paperwork and discussion on payment options.
When making your first call to COTI’s office, the staff will answer questions regarding whether or not COTI is accepting your insurance and other payment options if needed for services at COTI Blue Ash. All services at The Summit Academy Preschool are self-pay and are not able to be submitted to health insurance.
After your initial intake phone call, you will be sent an intake packet that asks questions about your child’s performance and general contact information. Once it is received, you will receive a follow-up phone call from COTI to review your specific payment options and scheduling information.
We are happy to answer any additional questions that you may have. You can reach us at
513-791-5688 or at coti@cintiOTinstitute.com.
