Purpose
At The Summit Academy Preschool, we embrace 3 John 1:4, which inspires our mission to nurture children's hearts and spirits alongside their academic growth. We aim to lay a foundation of biblical truth that shapes their understanding of the world and fosters a love for learning. Through Bible stories and a Christ-centered curriculum, we instill values like kindness, honesty, and love. Our joy as educators comes from seeing students grow in knowledge and faith, preparing them for both academic success and a life that honors God.

At The Summit Academy Preschool, we embrace the guiding biblical principles of Gather, Grow, Give, and Go in our educational and spiritual formation. "Gather" emphasizes the importance of community, fostering unity and encouragement among church and school families. "Grow" reflects our commitment to nurturing each child's spiritual and academic development. "Give" teaches generosity and kindness, helping children reflect God’s love in their relationships. "Go" inspires students to share Christ’s message and serve others beyond the classroom. Together, these values shape our children to learn, grow, and live purposefully for the glory of God
Biblical Values and Practices
When families enroll their child at The Summit Academy Preschool, they enter a partnership committed to a Christ-centered life grounded in God's Word, fostering spiritual growth and biblical values. This agreement affirms their dedication to holiness, purity, and living in accordance with Scripture, as emphasized in 1 Peter 1:16. We uphold the sanctity of life from conception and the sacredness of marriage between one man and one woman as foundational beliefs in our teaching. We maintain a moral standard aligned with Scripture, and behaviors inconsistent with these values, such as hate or disrespect, will not be tolerated. While we believe in redemption and restoration for those who stray, we reserve the right to deny admission or discontinue enrollment to uphold an environment that honors God in alignment with our values.
Leadership & Accountability
The Summit Academy Preschool is a ministry of The Summit Church Cincinnati and operates under the oversight of the church's leadership. While the Preschool Director provides day-to-day leadership of the school, she is supported and accountable to the Director of Operations and the Senior Pastor. This structure provides administrative oversight, financial accountability, policy governance, and an additional layer of support for our staff, students, and families.
We believe healthy leadership includes both authority and accountability. Our leadership structure ensures that important decisions are made thoughtfully, concerns can be addressed through appropriate channels, and our preschool remains faithful to its mission while maintaining high standards of safety, integrity, and excellence.
